Ever since Hubbs and I moved into our darling little apartment, our open-shelved kitchen has been growing on me. Not only does it make me stay neat and tidy, it uses our beautiful bone china, Napoleonic Bee glasses, and all the other pretty kitchen things to accessorize the room rather than hiding them away until they're in use. Our shelves are narrow enough that everything is in easy reach and it doesn't look cluttered. Also, putting everything away is a breeze, which, as the designated dish boy, Hubby appreciates.
Gotta love it.
